PLASA NRC
In 2009 Ard Soilse became the first Irish Rigging company to embrace the PLASA NRC scheme.

Ard Soilse Riggers Joe Betts and Jay Kavanagh both achieved NRC Level 2 qualifications, with Joe continuing on to Level 3.

The PLASA (Professional Light And Sound Association) National Rigging Certificate is a series of examinations designed to assess riggers competance
and skills. The assessments are split into four levels, currently level four is not available, but will be in the next 2 years or so.
We believe that safety will be drastically increased in our industry as more riggers embrace the scheme.
Ard Soilse has developed a 5 day training course aimed to provide candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve a PLASA Level 2 qualification, we will also be offering a training for level 3 candidates later in the year.

Ard Soilse has committed to PLASA that it will only employ riggers who are registered on the NRC scheme, with trainees working only under the supervision of a Level 2 or above.
