Irish production company Ard Soilse Productions Ltd provided Lighting and Rigging services to the 2009 World Fleadh in Castlebar, Ireland.

24 Elation Design 300 Spots and Washes were used in the Design by Joe Betts, along with numerous generic fixtures. Lighting technician Stephen Buckley was appointed as festival LD, to oversee visiting designers, and operate all other shows.

This years world Fleadh incorporated Irelands Music Awards (IMA’s) as well as Irelands Country Music Awards (ICMA’s) which meant the rig had to function both for Live Rock and Roll acts such as Sharon Shannon, Mary Black, The Saw Doctors and Moving Hearts, as well as functioning for television.

Ard Soilse also provided a Jands Vista i3 console, and a Pearl Expert, offering visiting designers maximum flexibility and comfort.
