Safety In The Workplace

Whether it ‘s a puppet show in a local school or a major music festival, our customers include promoters, event organizers, venue managers and technical staff who are ultimately responsible for event safety. This responsibility extends to ensuring safety of crew, cast, and members of the public and ensuring that events comply with health and safety legislation.

By selecting Ard Soilse Productions Ltd to provide your event services you can rest assured that you are choosing a company which puts health and safety first. We constantly strive to ensure that all aspects of our operation are compliant with current Irish health and safety legislation. At our offices in Clarecastle we maintain a comprehensive technical library where copies of all pertinent legislation, national as well as British and European standards are available, and our staff development programme ensures that our crew are kept up to date with changes in the law and industry developments.

We have in place full employers and public liability insurance cover as well as professional indemnification to cover.

All of our equipment undergoes routine safety inspections including:-

  • Portable electrical appliances and luminaires (PAT tests)
  • Lifting and rigging equipment (including shackles, slings, steel wire ropes etc)
It is our aim to ensure that our clients are confident that their crew cast and audiences are safe. If you have any concerns regarding Health and Safety at your event, please do not hesitate to either of the directors (Ian Betts or Joe Betts) immediately.
